Step-by-Step Guide for Supervised Visitations and Monitored Kids Exchanges
1) After referral, both parties schedule an intake interview
- Each party must contact Guardian House directly to schedule their intake interview.
- Staff will not contact the other party to schedule.
2) Submit all required items
- Both parties must complete all intake paperwork, submit required documentation, and pay applicable fees.
- Enrollment is not considered complete until all items are received.
3) Child Orientation (for Supervised Visitations)
- After enrollment is complete, each child participating in supervised visits will attend a Child Orientation before visits can begin.
4) Notification of readiness
- Once orientations are complete, Guardian House will contact both parties by phone to inform them that the non-custodial party may begin requesting visits.
5) File retention
- If services do not begin, intake paperwork remains on file for six months.
- After six months, a new intake interview and intake fee will be required to reactivate or begin services.
