    Chief Executive Officer / Chief Clinical Director

    Shannon White serves as the CEO and Chief Clinical Director at Guardian House. A Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Shannon brings over 25 years of experience in counseling and has held executive leadership roles in the nonprofit sector for more than 18 years. She leads her team in strengthening families and promoting healthy parenting through safe, therapeutic environments where children and parents can build strong bonds and develop essential skills.

    Her expertise includes revitalizing underperforming organizations; program and grant management at the local, county, state, and federal levels; program development and evaluation; staff leadership; fundraising; and direct counseling services. Shannon also successfully led a $4 million capital campaign and building renovation project, allowing Guardian House to move into a larger, trauma-informed space to better serve children and families.

    Rebecca Lynn “BeccaLynn” Gerstner is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as the Clinical and Program Director at Guardian House, where she provides clinical and programmatic insight over our core programs. BeccaLynn is driven by data-informed practice and a strong interest in understanding the populations we serve, using outcomes and demographic data to guide program development and improve service effectiveness. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s University, bringing both clinical expertise and deep compassion to her work with children and families.

    Outside of her professional role, BeccaLynn enjoys spending time with her cats and engaging in creative crafting projects, finding balance and restoration through creativity and companionship.

    Pam Tyler‘s passion for making a difference in our community began as a student at Northwest Vista College. During college, she volunteered with family-strengthening organizations such as Project WORTH (Working On Real Teen Health), Communities in Schools, and Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio. Pam has worked in Development for over fifteen years, focusing on family success, education, fundraising, event planning, donor relations, team building, and community engagement.

    Pam’s strong desire to give back to the community directly results from her personal journey. She was fortunate to have guidance from dedicated individuals who believed she could accomplish her dreams and would eventually “pay it forward” in our community.  Pam believes with all her heart that it is her turn to give back to the community what it once given to her—encouragement, a positive start, and a path to a prosperous future!

    As a wife and mother of three biological sons and two bonus adopted daughters, Pam deeply understands the importance of family and community support. These experiences help her effectively add value to Guardian House. Pam can relate to families and our community regarding the value and quality of life. “I believe education and safety are the keys to a prosperous future, and I enjoy partnering with our community to make dreams a reality.”

    Director of Operations

    Jason Alteri is a mission-driven leader who brings together a wide range of experiences to his work at Guardian House. With backgrounds in operations management, training and development, and ministry, he understands that excellence requires principled leadership and systems that center on people.

    Jason holds a Master of Science in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University and a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and is passionate about serving veterans and their families. Jason is also active in his church and enjoys volunteering throughout the San Antonio community.

    Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking the beautiful trails around San Antonio, visiting the beaches on the Gulf, and participating in each of his children’s activities!

    Kellie Rose Alcozer is a communications and customer experience leader with a strong background in public involvement, media relations, and community engagement. She currently serves as Manager of Customer Experience at CLEAResult, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on strengthening customer and community relationships.

    Previously, Kellie held communications roles with WSP USA and the City of San Antonio, managing public outreach, media relations, social media strategy, and large-scale community events. She began her career in public relations and sports media, supporting major media outlets and client accounts.

    Passionate about service and impact, Kellie is actively involved in local nonprofit and conservation efforts throughout San Antonio.

    Kelly Hamer has worked for Farm Bureau Bank since 2006 and has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked as the VP and Financial Center Manager for Washington Mutual Bank, and served as AVP and Branch Manager, Teller Operations Supervisor, and Financial Service Representative at Broadway National Bank. As our SVP Chief Consumer Lending and Services Officer, Kelly is responsible for the oversight of the Bank’s core lines of business.

    Kelly earned her graduate Banking degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

    Leticia Salazar is a seasoned retail banking professional with over 16 years of experience, including 11 years with Hancock Whitney Bank. She currently serves as Financial Center Leader for the San Antonio location, where she focuses on building strong client relationships and helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Leticia is deeply engaged in the community she serves and passionate about financial literacy, advocacy, and education. Her background in both banking and education allows her to create meaningful community partnerships and deliver tailored financial solutions in collaboration with all lines of business at Hancock Whitney.

    Chad Bonstead is Senior Counsel at Valero in San Antonio where he provides business-focused legal advice on commercial transactions and marketing activities. He makes it his mission to help colleagues follow the law while achieving great results for Valero in the marketplace. Chad joined Valero in 2017 and has since advanced through expanding legal roles. Prior to working at Valero Chad spent 12 years in the Houston area working in procurement and supply chain management for an international oil and gas company, followed by 3 years practicing commercial litigation at a major Texas law firm. He and his family are active members of Wayside Chapel in San Antonio.

    Heath Grona is Senior Director of Business Development at Vaco, where he leads strategic growth initiatives and partners with organizations to deliver tailored talent and consulting solutions. Since joining Vaco in 2020, Heath has advanced through multiple leadership roles in client solutions and business development, driving revenue growth and strengthening long-term partnerships.

    Prior to Vaco, Heath held senior accounting leadership roles at Andeavor and Tesoro and began his career at KPMG. A Certified Public Accountant, Heath holds both a BBA and MS in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude. He is actively involved in the San Antonio community through the Rotary Club and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

She currently serves as Marketing Officer at Frost, where she drives integrated marketing strategy and brand engagement.

    Kristi’s background includes leadership roles at Meritage Homes and Health by Design, along with nonprofit social media strategy and event marketing experience. With expertise in branding, digital and traditional advertising, content strategy, public relations, and community engagement, she is passionate about building strong brands and meaningful connections that deliver measurable results.

    A graduate of Texas A&M University–San Antonio, Bo brings both local expertise and a relationship-driven approach to every transaction. Passionate about serving his community, he is focused on helping individuals and families confidently find a place to call home.

    Corey serves as the Director of Financial Services at Holt Group. With 30 years of experience in Financial Services, Corey has built a career and relationships across New Orleans, Atlanta, and his current home, San Antonio. Since relocating to San Antonio with his family in 2012, he has embraced the city’s spirit and culture.

    Corey is honored to support Guardian House and its mission to strengthen families and protect children throughout the San Antonio area. “I’ve seen how high-conflict situations impact children, and I love the work that Guardian House does and the positive impact it has on families. I am excited to be a part of that.”
