Our Facility

Guardian House provides a welcoming and safe environment designed to support children and families through every step of their healing journey. Our facility includes:

• Twelve dedicated visitation rooms, offering private, supervised spaces for children to spend time with their parents in a safe and structured setting.
• One dedicated therapy room, designed to support trauma-informed counseling and mental health services.
• Three common/shared play spaces, which include:
  • Two fully functional kitchens
  • Puppet and dramatic play area
  • An array of games, toys, and books for children of all ages
  • An air hockey room for active play
  • A hands-on art center to foster creativity and expression
  • A grill in the backyard
• The Kingdom for Kids Playground, a vibrant outdoor play space built to encourage movement, laughter, and joyful connection among children and their families.
• The Bexar County Healing Atrium, a peaceful, outdoor space designed to promote emotional healing and reflection.
• A dedicated Parenting Classroom, where caregivers can build and strengthen their parenting skills.

Each space is consistently monitored through full video and audio surveillance, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child and family who walks through our doors.
