Court Alignment
Guardian House’s role is to assist families in fulfilling their court-ordered visitation and/or exchange requirements. Guardian House does not make determinations regarding ordered visitation schedules or exchanges.
For questions about changing or clarifying court orders, please contact your attorney.
Requesting Records
- Full Case Record: Requires a valid subpoena. The case record includes all correspondence, visit notes, and exchange visit notes for both parties.
- Partial Record: Parents may request their own records only (e.g., documented phone calls, emails, sign-ins) without a subpoena if they have an upcoming court date.

Documentation Process
All Guardian House correspondence is thoroughly documented and may be subject to subpoena. This includes:
- Phone calls
- Emails
- Face-to-face interactions with staff
- All visitation notes
- Parent notes
- Sign-in sheets
Confidentiality Policy
Guardian House will not communicate information related to a case outside of the respective parties. Any release of information requires one of the following:
- A signed Release of Records form
- A Power of Attorney
