Fourth Annual Spring Egg Hunt Welcomes Nearly 700 Guests for Family Fun and Community Connection

by Guardian House

Guardian House proudly hosted our Fourth Annual Spring Egg Hunt, bringing together nearly 700 children, families, and community members for a free, family-friendly day of celebration, laughter, and springtime fun. This year’s event – the largest yet – was filled with smiles, excitement, and meaningful community connections.

For the first time, we gathered at San Pedro Park, a beautiful and historic setting that offered the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to children, family, and joy. And after an unforgettable turnout, we are thrilled to say: we’ll see you there again next year!

A Day Full of Activities, Resources & Community Spirit

Our guests enjoyed a festive morning packed with activities designed to engage, inspire, and support families, including:

  • A massive egg hunt with more than 5,000 eggs hidden
  • Games and hands-on kids’ activities
  • A community resource fair featuring educational and family-support partners
  • Free photos with the Easter Bunny

We were honored to welcome local partners who shared helpful programs, college and career resources, wellness support, and activities, including:

  • Fin Addicts Angler Foundation
  • IDEA Public Schools
  • CLEAResult
  • Alamo Community Colleges
  • Restore Education
  • San Antonio Metro Health

and many more community organizations

Their participation ensured families not only had fun, but also left with valuable resources and information to support learning, health, and growth.

A Heartfelt Thanks to Our Sponsors & Volunteers

This cherished tradition would not be possible without the tremendous generosity of our supporters and friends.

A special thank-you to our presenting sponsor, H-E-B, who once again showed up in full force – providing financial support, sending amazing volunteers, and even sharing fresh food with attendees. Year after year, H-E-B demonstrates what it means to truly uplift a community.

We also extend our deep gratitude to:

  • Valero
  • Alamo Steam Team
  • A-Awesome Tickets
  • Farm Bureau Bank
  • Hancock Whitney
  • Fit to a Tee
  • Marsh McLennan Agency
  • Barbara Wortham
  • Amanda’s Photo Booth – for sponsoring free bunny photos!

And to our friends at Farm Bureau Bank – thank you for helping us prep by stuffing eggs ahead of time! Your partnership helped bring smiles to hundreds of little faces.
Finally, thank you to our dedicated volunteers, staff, board members, and community supporters who made this day seamless, joyful, and impactful. Your generosity brings this tradition to life each year.

See You Next Spring!

Our Annual Egg Hunt is more than an event – it is a celebration of family, childhood, and community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this year a tremendous success.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you again next spring at San Pedro Park – where the magic continues, and memories are made with every hidden egg and every happy little smile.
